  3. After pressing button Submit, there will be two possibilities:
    1. There is a mistake – nothing will happen, you can go on with your game, find your mistake or start from the beginning
    2. It is O.K. – your time will be recorded in a database and on the screen will appear the message : "Your time has been saved to the database"
  4. After pressing the buton "Start" – nothing will be saved to the database, just the table will be deleted and time keeps on running
  5. If you close the window without saving the corresponding difficulty level, your result will be evaluated with time 11:59:59, but after midnight or by repeated access to the previously choosen dificulty level
  6. After your time is saved to the database, you can open this difficulty level anytime during the day. The next day you can open the same table in the Sudoku archive.

Points:

  1. Points are generated at 1.00 a.m. for previous day.
  2. For 1st place - 1 point, 15. place - 15 points ....
  3. For time 11:59:59 you get points by number of players which that day were playing
  4. Players which didn´t play that day get one point more.
  5. So less points are better ;-)

Krtek’s Cup New

Krtek’s Cup is a long-run contest in solving interesting sudoku puzzles.

One round lasts three weeks. 8 puzzles of the same type are published during this period, a new one every second day. Then there is one week to finish the puzzles, after three weeks the official rank of the round is closed. You can solve the puzzles after that but without effect on the rank.

Particular rounds will overlap in order to give enough solving opportunities Smile The first round starts with the first puzzle on September 1, 2009, the last puzzle of the first round is published on September 15, 2009 and this round is closed on September 21, 2009. The second round starts with its first puzzle on September 15, 2009, the last puzzle of this round is published on September 29, 2009 and the second round is closed on October 6, 2009. The following round will follow in the same scenario.

The rank for individual puzzles is made up in the same way as for online variants. The solving time is counted from the first opening until the first time of correct solution is submitted. The overall rank is made up as well; the first criterion is the number of solved puzzles and the other criterion is the sum solving times.

Sudoku archive:

  1. Here you can re-play anytime your games from the previous days.
  2. On the introductory screen you will choose in the calendary the date and you will confirm it. The archive is accesible from 22nd April 2006.
  3. Select your difficulty level.
  4. After loading all the instructions, timeclock will be automatically set on.
