Ziti: You are right. I asked Ales to fix it in the rules.

In the rules for Distances, I think you mean that A is the the LEFT OF/Above B. That is the typical Distances rule, and it was the one that worked for the first puzzle.

I am not sure if the example exists. I made this variation for this round, I personally did not solve it before.
To the rules, yes, all single ships cover the same digit and for the bigger ones the same sum is more obvious term.
For example: 6-6-6-6-19-72-249-816-3574

Is there an example of how the rules work for Same Sum Battleship Sudoku? Because I don't get if for instance, the single digit ships are all the same digit... An example would be 4 6s.
