Just now I completed GTaK Sudoku for this week. When I clicked on Start to start this puzzle, nothing happened. I clicked again and then I saw puzzle loading twice in succession. I solved this Sudoku in 20.44 mins but when I saw the result it is showing my time as 11.59.59 instead of my actual solving time. Is it because puzzle loaded twice when I stated. If yes, then Start Button should disabled on first click, so that 2nd click is not recorded to solve this problem.

Rajesh Kumar: Now I know the problem, I guess you played game no.2 before that no.4, correct? It's caused because of bug in my code, I forgot to clear all numbers in "column 0". So if you open new window, everything is fine as there were no "old" numbers, but once you play something with numbers there and in that particular new game numbers are not present in this column, the old ones remain.
I'm really sorry for this, stupid mistake, it's pretty easy to fix this problem.
I suggest I'll delete your records on this game and you can play it again once you will not remember too much of it. Ok?

Rajesh Kumar: One man in Slovak Guestbook complained on this, but as you said, 50 players solved it, so I didn't do anything with it. Strange thing is that he reported number 38 on that place. I have one suspicion what this can be, let me check.

I was solving Krtek's Cup X Sum Sudoku 4th puzzle. After spending around 1 hour on this puzzle, I found that something is wrong with this puzzle but there were more than 50 players who has solved same puzzle correctly but for me it Sudoku looked unsolvable/wrong.
After talking to some players who has already solved this Sudoku, I found that when I opened this Sudoku, extra hint (23) appears on R1 which does not appears for other players and this makes Sudoku unsolvable. Very strange problem. Did anyone else too got this extra hint?
I have screen shot of the Sudoku. Please do let me know if some wants to look at that screen shot?

Rohan Rao: I wasn't author of the point system, I'm not here from the beginning, but what difference would make this kind of change? As you know, we're playing just for fun (and maybe practising), so from my point of view the benefit of that change is quite small. Although I have to say that your suggestion make sense, of course.

Shouldn't we distinguish between players who solve a sudoku (after closing and restarting) and those who don't solve it at all.
Currently, if someone start a sudoku, closes the browser, then starts again and submits correctly, the time is 11:59:59 and gets the same rank as someone who starts the sudoku and doesn't complete it.
Whats wrong in having ranks 1~80 (for the 80 people who solved and submitted in one session), rank 81 (for, say 10 people who solved correctly after multiple sessions) and rank 91 for all those who started and never finished.
Maybe this has been discussed before. I'm not sure.

Sorry guys! We put higher attention to the new design feature than to double-check the puzzle. Prasanna is right about what is wrong. I wrote to Ales and he will replace the puzzle.

I agree about Even Sandwich. I knew that there are 3 possible ways a mistake could be made, so I solved it right to the end and then switched around to check. It is easily fixed I think, with an 4 as the last column clue instead of a 6 (and that is what the intended solution has I guess).
