Something is obviously wrong with 5th puzzle. First column seems impossible. Please check.

At the h..p://sudokucup.com you can find two new things! In the first one we offer you sample tasks (booklet) of the first tournament of HALAS league which is held online on 28-29 January 2012. I, as the author of puzzles, think you can look forward to that. So, try to solve these booklet puzzles to be prepared for the competition held next weekend.
The second major innovation is other 19 online tasks (Flash window) for testing of new play system.
I wish all of you fun!

Ales: I played alterrnative last week on monday or tuesday (I don't remember). Yesterday, I didn't see my times in the tables, so I played once again 4 grids, thinking that I've forgotten to play... (with worse times ), before seeing that my times were recorded on week 52/2011 and not 52/2012.
Today, I see that only the games I played yesterday are recorded. Is there a way to restore times I did on monday or tuesday? thanks

Ziti: Don't be afraid of your times. These weekly alternatives has one disadvantage - week is not ended with the end of the year. So January 1st was last day of week 52 and therefore I have to do some changes in DB, because that week was confusingly 52/2011 and 52/2012 both. Right now all the times should be correct and your victory on JK is written in golden letters

Btw, something happened and my Alternative times vanished. I think it's because I did them all within the last 24 hours and the change from 2011 to 2012 confused the database. Please correct; I had a really good JK time! ;)

Germany is always good at football (Krtek's cup).
There is a saying: "the rules of football are simple: it is played with 11 players against 11 players, and in the end it is Germany who wins!"

Merry Christmas to English speaking players wish Cert () & Nicky ()

I have to apologize that in Krtek's cup Deja vu V, game 8 (kropki) a dot is missing. Therefore Krtek prepared a new puzzle which is ready now. Your old times were deleted, you should play again if you want to complete this round. Due to that deadline was changed to 26th of December.

For more than 9 hours there was a possibility to play next games of Krtek's cup. It was a mistake in the database, but all the puzzles were correct, so the results of affected players will be kept as there is no reason for other solution. I just want to inform you...

I plan to do more "not online" sudoku tournament next year (I did only take part to one such in 2009 before this year WSC, which is quite not enough), so perhaps it'll be Czech sudoku championship, but it's not easy to be free on weekends for me, so I'll see...
