Ales and Ankora -- I sent an email about a possible Online Variant I would like to submit to the site. Please check and reply when you can, thanks.

Yoyo: If you don't need to close the window, you can play forward and try to send your solution after the connection will be established again. If it's necessary to close the window, second attempt set the time to 11:59:59 by default. You have two possibilities:
1. Ask the admins to delete your time, then you can play it again.
2. Play it again immediately and then ask the admins to update your time to correct value. I think this is faster and easier for both sides...
Of course I understand that second playing is influenced by the first opening, so anyone can be quicker, but we are playing for fun, I think, and we believe that players are honest...

This morning while tackling the Easy sudoku and half-way through, I was asked to close because 'Internet had encountered a problem and forced to close'. When I re-entered the Easy sudoku (it was written 'Played') and when I checked the results, the time was written 11:59.59.
Is there any possibility that we can still play that sudoku without being penalised immediately (especially through no fault of ours). I do not mind if the time lapsed for eg. 15 minutes is added on,but not to be given another chance seemed a bit severe. Thanks.

The LMI January 2011 Sudoku test "Prime Exotica" has been extended by 24 hours. So, if you have missed it over the weekend, you can think of giving it a shot today. Answer submissions will be accepted till 23:59 GMT on January 24th 2011.

The test focuses on prime numbers and a few exotic variants - notably quite a few of the variants (DNA, Kombinance, Kid, Multitab, Tennisdoku) owe their origin to the online variants section on this site.

Length of the test is 101 minutes and the link is h..p://logicmastersindia.com/lmitests?test=M201101S

don3232: Interesting thing, it looks it's almost twice... I have to go through other players, if someone have the same problem...

Hey, I just found out that the same bug occurs when selecting "Best Times" from the "Statistics" of the daily Sudoku "Results" section.

Hey, I found another little bug.

How to reproduce:
1. use the site's English version
2. select "Statistics" in the "Alternatives" section
3. select "Best Times" and then enter a player's name + "Submit"

Now the page has changed to the Slovak version

Cheers,
Marvey

I have a problem in my alterntive's results.

In best result, "Killer" is wrong in "medals" , "in top10" ,
and that should be 6|8|4 | 25/43 | 58%

Can you repair this data? Thanks.

Rakesh: Thanks for explanantion. I missed that part of the rule. I'll check grid once again.

Branko: The path of a number should not contain any instances of the number except the ball. For 5, this is violated.

Branko: I've updated pdf file from Krtek's cup archive. You can find the paths on the last page of the file. It is done only in last year's round (No. 9)

Hi, Jan.
Could you provide a solution for snooker sudoku in last years Xmas round of Krtek's cup with drawed paths for all balls.
I'm not sure that I understood rules of this variant.

Best regards!!!

Ok, thank you Krtek. I believe you are allowed one little imperfection over 1.5 years of greatness!

Yuhei, Ziti: The problem is that the prohibiting sentence exists only in my head when I´m creating and testsolving the puzzle. It should be added to the rules, at least for the next time. Now we have to do with little imperfection.
