I agree with Ziti. Drunken seems to have more than one solution if path-crossing is allowed.
I tried Google Translate to check the rule in Slovak version, but cannot find the sentence to prohibit that.

I have checked many times and cannot see why there are not multiple solutions to Drunken, the XMas Special puzzle #3 in the great Krtek's Cup series. There appear to be three solutions: the one accepted by the server, and the two in my screenshot.

I fear there is something lost in translation. Can the drunk's path cross itself? That is to say, would it be possible for a path to go from R1C1-R2C2-R2C1-R1C2? If this is not allowed then there is only one solution, but I do not believe it is stated this way in the English rules.

If anyone knows what I am doing wrong please let me know; I fear perhaps I was too Drunken myself tonight :). Also, if you would like to see the screenshot please tell me where to email it.

Ales: I agree with Rishi. This site is one of the best sudoku variants website ! The fact is that it's not done in a commercial goal, but it's done by people who really like sudoku, and it's really important !

I've had a problem with my quadro today. When I opened the puzzle, an empty grid appeared. I opened it for the second time so it was marked as "played". Could you save 23:13 for this week's quadro? Well, I know it's absolutely not a good result but that's still better than 11:59:59 which presently exists in the scoreboard

We all understand the pressures of maintaining a website and also trying to ensure we have adequate and enough time for our work and families ... It bothers me that we have problems like this (incorrect ranking, incorrect puzzles in Krtek's cup, missing puzzles in daily or alternative puzzles etc), it looks like we are group of amateurs...
But in fact, we are amateurs with our work, families, duties etc. We are trying to do our best, but sometimes something else has to be done instead. I'm sorry for these things, I hope it will not discourage you from playing here, because this site is not for us, it's for you...

Tim: Exactly 211 records in the DB has problem with incorrect best time or best position due to this "one-week-in-two-years" thing. It's too much to repair it manually, so I have to write a script for it. Unfortunately I have a very little time to do it, I hope tomorrow will be the day...

Ziti: Of course it isn't on purpose, that's all the same every year. But this year for the first time I was not able to correct everything at the right time... I hope everything will be ok soon.

The Weekly results page is fouled up for now, as you have to look at Week 52 of 2011 to see overall results. The Week 52 of 2010 results only show those puzzles done in 2010. I trust this is not on purpose. :)
