We are pleased to invite you to participate in the BRAND'S SUDOKU Thailand International Open 2008, which will be held from March 22nd – 23rd, 2008 at Central World Shopping Complex, Bangkok, Thailand with the winner's prize of USD 5,000. This is 2nd year that the event has been organized and the first time that it opens to challenge all international players worldwide. Meanwhile, this event may be considered as a warm-up tournament before upcoming World SUDOKU Championship 2008 in Goa, India.

International Open Division (Individual), open to all without restrictions
Prizes
- Champion: Trophy + USD 5,000 + Gift Set
- 2nd place-getter: 60,000 Thai baht (equivalent to approximately USD 1,700) + Gift Set
- 3rd place-getter: 20,000 Thai baht (equivalent to approximately USD 570) + Gift Set
Entry Fee
USD30 (entry fee and coffee break only, not included accommodation and other travel costs)
*** The application fee can be paid upon Bangkok arrival.
Format
- 5 preliminary rounds. Cumulative scores will be collected.
- After 5 preliminary rounds, the top 5 players who have highest cumulative score will go to final round.
- The Sudoku puzzles will comprise of many Sudoku variations i.e. Sum Sudoku, Jigsaw Sudoku, Samurai Sudoku, Greater-than Sudoku, Even-odd Sudoku, etc.
- More details about Sudoku puzzles will be announced when available.

lono: I'm glad you will not travel long and hope you will like PLKN in Millennium Camp I hope you will tell me in march

NadaK:Dont worry.I believe the PLKN will be fun.I am in Millennium Camp, Beranang(Selangor)and I live in Selangor.There will no internet in the camp.But I will bring enough Sudoku to train there (if I have free time)

oh dear, I didn't know there is something like PLKN in Malaysia! I don't like it and I'm glad there is nothing similar in our country In which camp you will be? I'm sorry that you were so "lucky" and was selected. You think there will be no internet in the camp?

NadaK:You can find the information about the exam(SPM)and National Service(known as PLKN) in wikipedia if you want to know.

NadaK:The exam is end and I think I have already do my best in the exam.The result will only out next year(around February).I will not playing Sudoku here and Sudoku-League because I have to go for the National Service from 29th December until 11 March next year.

lono: how about your exams? I hope

Ankora:I will train to get better result Ya,I will enter the world championship if I can.

lono: You must train. More sudoku variants. Maybe Variants online? Next year will be world championship in India, and it´s not so far from you. You want to go there, don´t you?

My result is very bad
I aim for getting 105 marks but I only get 65 marks! I making mistake when typing the answer for the first puzzle(I sending the answer at the last 2 minutes)
